DCET Training are able to access a £2,500 grant for employers
This grant, introduced by the National Apprenticeship Service, is only available until
31 March 2010 and is on a first come, first serve basis
The details of the grant are as follows:-
- The employer agrees to train the apprentice for the length of their apprenticeship.
- The apprentice is to be employed on a minimum wage of £95 per week.
- £1,500 to be issued within 1 month of confirmation of employment of the apprentice
- £1,000 to be paid at the end of a 12 week period. Should the apprentice be dismissed or leave during the period the payments will be clawed back.
