NET AM2 Skills Test
DCET Training is a fully licensed NET AM2 Skills Test centre.
As part of the apprenticeship framework, all apprentices approaching the end of their training, or others wishing to accredit practical experience, for example to simulate the safety critical elements of the NVQ must take the NET Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) Skills Test. The test will typically take two and a half days with each section being timed.
This test covers the following:
- Composite installation (section A)
- Visual inspection (section A)
- Functional operation (section A)
- Inspection and testing of the composite installation (section B)
- Safe isolation of test unit (including risk assessment) (section C)
- Safe isolation of supplies (section C)
- Fault diagnosis (section D1)
- Fault rectification (section D2)
