City & Guilds 2382-20 Update Regulations course

Who is this course aimed at?
This course is intended for practicing electricians with relevant experience. It is suitable for electrical engineers, contracts managers, designers and practicing electricians. Prior knowledge in basic electrical science will be required.

If you have achieved any of the following and can produce a certificate as proof then you are eligible to do the course:

• City & Guilds certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:June 2001 (2381)
• City & Guilds level 3 Certification in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures 2330-07)
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance (2330-08)
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installations Part 2 (2360) from January 2004 onwards only).

• The 2351 is now acceptable as an entrance exam for the 2382-20 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (16th to 17th edition update) only if achieved as part of an Electrotechnical Advanced Apprenticeship completed post 1 January 2004.  

How long will the course take?
 Either two days with the exam on the last day or four evenings with the exam on the following day.

What will the course focus on?
Delegates will be updated with the main additions and changes introduced by the BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.

What books will I need?
You will need the IEE 17^th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) £75.00.

Is there an exam?
Yes there is a one hour multiple choice on-line examination.

When will I know if I've passed?
You will be informed of the provisional results immediately, the certificates will be sent to you when processed.
