An overview of BS 5839 (to include part 1, commercial and part 6, domestic)
Designed to provide candidates with basic knowledge and understanding of B.S. 5839 parts 1 & 6, plus a look at different design options.
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is intended for practicing electricians, designers and others with a responsibility for fire safety.
Candidates will ideally have a good knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition of B.S. 7671

Basic design, types of detection, system categories, conventional & addressable solutions
Is there an exam?
A certificate of attainment will be awarded by DCET Training after successful completion of a short assessment.
