Inspection & Testing

To comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations all installations must be constructed and maintained so as to prevent danger. Subsequent inspection and testing is required to ensure the installation is in a safe condition.

There are two courses in this suite of qualifications:

•1.   Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification (City & Guilds 2392-10)

•2.   Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2391-10)


Which course is right for me?

Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification (City & Guilds 2392-10)

Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification is a level 2 qualification and is designed for practicing electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the City & Guilds 2391-10.

Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations (City & Guilds 2391-10)

Inspection , Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations is a level 3 qualification for qualified electricians with previous experience of inspection and testing and a good working knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
