IOSH
The IOSH Working Safely certificated course has been developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) to address training needs of the workforce in the light of developments in safety and health legislation.
Who is this course aimed at?
This is a one day course designed to ensure that all have a basic understanding of Health & Safety working practices and are able to comply with both statutory requirements and those of their employer in accordance with the company Health and Safety Policy.

One day
What topics will it cover?
Introducing working safely, defining hazard and risk, identifying common hazards, improving safety performance, protecting your environment.
What books will I need?
An IOSH workbook will be provided for you.
Is there an exam?
There will be a short assessment at the end of the day.
When will I know if I've passed?
Papers will be sent to IOSH to be processed, if successful you will receive an IOSH certificate.
