Introduction to PV

Who is this course aimed at?
This course has been specifically designed for those who are considering PV installations with an aim of outlining the required equipment and practices requried for a typical PV installation. It is aimed at potential installers, designers and specifiers of PV installations.

How long will the course take?
One day - 9.00am to 4.00pm.

What topics will it cover?
•   Terminology
•   The equipment required for a typical PV installation.
•   Module awareness
•   Overview of standards
•   Overview of MCS scheme

What books will I need?
No books are required for the course. Details of recommended further reading will be provided for those who wish to pursue PV installations.

Is there an exam?
Yes, there will be a short multiple-choice exam based on the course content.

When will I know if I've passed?
The exam will be marked during the course and upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a DCET Training Certificate of Attendance.

How much will it cost?
£148 + VAT to include a buffet lunch.
