DISQ Lives On!
Despite lots of contradictory information over the last few weeks, we can now announce the continuation of the DISQ. Following the latest press release from EAS (Electrotechnical Assessment Specification Management Committee) we are pleased to confirm that the existing arrangements for Domestic Installers/Qualifying Supervisors will continue until April 2013. This means that the DISQ qualification will remain valid and we will continue to offer it until April 2013. The national pass rate for the July exam was 36% indicating that this was probably a particularly tough exam this time. We are therefore justly proud of our 68% pass rate for this exam. Bearing in mind these results and the upcoming changes to the 2391 qualification, why not consider enrolling on our next 2391 course in January whilst this quicker and cheaper route is available. In addition, for those needing to brush up on their practical experience we are offering a one day practical training day, see here for full details.

New Course
We've designed a new course to provide householders/landlords with basic electrical awareness. 'Householder Electrical Awareness' is a two evening course aimed at people who have no electrical experience and who wish to gain an understanding of basic electrical equipment and be given expert guidance on what to do in typical situations.........MORE NEW COURSES TO FOLLOW IN THE NEW YEAR!
Christmas Closing
We will be closed from late afternoon on 23rd December, and although we don't have any courses running, someone will be here to answer the phone on the 28th, 29th and 30th. We are then open again from 3rd January.
