Electric Vehicle Charging

This course will cover the requirements of BS7671 with regards to the new section on electric vehicle charging points, discussing how the electrical supply can be delivered from both private and public supplies.
By the end of the course candidates will understand how to install these points in compliance with BS7671, the Electrical Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations and the new IET Code of Practice.

Who is this course aimed at?
The course is for practicing electricians who are conversant with the current Wiring Regulations and Inspection & Testing. It is aimed at contractors looking to expand their business to accommodate the installation of electric vehicle charging points.

This is a one day course - 9am to 4pm (including exam).

Is there an exam?
Yes. You must pass a short exam to gain a NICEIC certificate.

When will I know if I've passed?
Provisionally on the day. NICEIC certificate will follow.

How much will it cost?
NICEIC, ELECSA or ECA Registered - £130+VAT (including buffet lunch).
Non-registered - £150+VAT (including buffet lunch).
