About The Course
This course has been specifically designed to allow potential applicants to the Domestic Electrical Competent Person Scheme operated by ELECSA and NICEIC as a Qualified Supervisor to demonstrate knowledge of the current edition of BS7671, inspection and testing procedures and the Building Regulations. This course will provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required to undertake the on-site assessments required to join the scheme. Note this must be arranged separately at additional cost. Successful completion of this course will provide candidates with recognised Level 2 and 3 qualifications - the City and Guilds 2382 (BS7671), City and Guilds 2392 (Fundamental Inspection & Testing), City & Guilds 2393 (Building Regulations) and the OKA knowledge assessment which is operated by the certification body Certsure and is recognised by ELECSA and NICEIC.

Pre-requisites
This course is aimed at those who don't hold full electrical craft qualifications but carry out electrical duties as part of their everyday work and who wish to apply to join the Domestic Electrical Competent Person scheme operated by ELECSA and NICEIC as a Qualified Supervisor.

There are four on-line exams, the 2382, 2392, 2393 and the OKA plus practical inspection and testing assessment for the 2392. Results of all assessments are provided upon completion of each assessment. Note, taking the OKA does not guarantee acceptance onto the Competent Persons Scheme, and will depend upon the successful completion of the on-site assessment which must be arranged separately at additional cost.

Course Duration
The duration of this course is four weeks including practical installation exercises.
