Looking Good...

20 Years Old!
We are delighted to have celebrated our 20th Birthday this month which highlights our success of going from strength to strength and continual development and expansion. Please click on the article on the right hand side to read more about our history and how far we've come over the last 20 years.

DCET 20th Birthday

Some of the DCET Team.

Happy Retirement
This month we saw Peter Oldham step down as DCET's Managing Director on the same day as DCET's 20th birthday. Peter joined DCET Training in 2010 and has been a major part of transforming and expanding the business. Peter will remain a member of the Board of Directors so although not taking full retirement we wish him a very happy working less hours!
In addition Bob Gooch, one of DCET's long standing Training Assessors, will take full retirement at the end of December after working at DCET for 10 years. We wish him a very happy and well deserved retirement and will miss most of all his cheeky banter!

2016 Charity Announcement
We are very pleased to announce that DCET Bristol will be supporting a local charity throughout 2016. After much debate DCET Bristol's apprentices have chosen the Teenage Cancer Trust - we are delighted to to be able to support the vital work carried out by the trust. More news on our fundraising plans will follow in the coming months, but in the meantime if you would like to get involved or make a donation please get in touch with Michelle Moylan, Centre Manager, and follow us on Twitter where our latest support news will be tweeted.

Children in Need
We are delighted to have raised £68.00 for Children in Need this year. The DCET Team participated by dressing as Super Heros and holding a week long cake sale. A big thank you to all who took part and for all donations received.

Follow us! @ DCETBristol - we have just launched our Bristol Twitter account to report all of our local news and gossip, offers and information about our Apprenticeships, Traineeships and continued professional development courses. Stay abreast of our latest developments.

Black Friday
Following the growing Black Friday trend DCET participated last week by offering a one day special promotion. The event was so well received on Twitter that we will be be using Twitter a lot more over the coming months to keep you informed of new courses and exciting events, so do please follow both @DCETBristol for all Bristol related information and @DCETTraining for all Devon and Cornwall news.
