City & Guilds 2382-12 17th Edition 2011

From the 1st January 2012 this will be the only qualification available for those wishing to demonstrate a knowledge of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and is only available as a two hour, sixty question exam.  
 
Who is this course aimed at?
This course is intended for practicing electricians with relevant experience. It is suitable for electrical engineers, contracts managers, designers and practicing electricians. Prior knowledge in basic electrical science will be required.

How long will the course take?
3 days.

What will the course focus on?
The course aim is to gain familiarity with the layout, content and use of the regulations.

What books will I need?
You will need the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2008 Amendment 1 (2011) 'Green' book £80.00.

Is there an exam?
Yes, there is a two hour multiple choice online examination.

When will I know if I've passed?
You will be informed of the provisional results immediately, the certificates will be sent to you when processed.

For candidates who have recently completed a 17th Edition qualification (i.e. 2382-10/2382-20) we are able to offer a Half day Amendment 1 Awareness course to include a Certificate of Attendance. Cost £70+VAT. 
(Candidates will be given the option to sit the 2382-12 exam at 1pm for an additional 'special rate' cost of £65+VAT.  The exam only price if not undertaking the Half day Awareness course is £85+VAT).
